In Open Works and Inside Installations journalist and curator Pawel Kaminski discussed the conservation and curation of unstable media in the contemporary arts, whilst Dr. Nye Parry gave a talk suggesting how the composition and performance of mid-century ‘open’ musical works prefigured the way we now explore interactive technologies.

Nye Parry is a composer, sonic artist and course leader of MA Sonic Arts and Middlesex University. Pawel Kaminski is the Visiting Curator at IMT.
